Most of our services Monday and Wednesday are by appointment only. Please call or drop by to make an appointment for the following:Anonymous HIV testing with pre and post-test counselling. We offer standard and rapid HIV testing. Birth control information and methods. Hormonal contraceptive (pill, patch and ring) starts and restarts. Depo-Provera counselling and injections. Intrauterine device (IUD) counselling and insertion referrals to the Bay Centre for Birth Control. Diaphragm counselling and fittings. Fertility awareness methods teaching and training. Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing, treatment and follow-up. STI counselling, including herpes and genital warts. Pregnancy testing, decision counselling, abortion referrals and post-abortion check-ups. Pap tests. Breast examinations. Other gynecological related appointments with our doctors.

If you have been sexually assaulted in the last seven days, please call Women’s College Hospital Urgent Care Centre at 416 · 323 · 6300 to speak to a sexual assault and domestic violence care nurse examiner, or visit the hospital at 76 Grenville Street, main floor. Counselling and therapy referrals. Individual counselling and support for HIV+ women. Sexuality counselling. Alternative insemination counselling. Presentations to community groups and organizations. Displays at community events. General women’s health education and referrals. If you are interested in receiving the hepatitis B vaccine, please call the clinic.
You do not need an appointment for any of the following:
STI drop-in on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m, Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You can be tested or treated for STIs at this time. Our drop-in operated on a first-come, first-served basis. At this time you can have an STI check, a Pap test, or be treated for genital warts. You cannot have an HIV test at this time without an appointment. When we are very busy, the drop-in clinic may close earlier than 7 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. The emergency contraceptive pill (ECP) or “morning-after pill” is available anytime the women/trans clinic is open. You do not need to call first to make an appointment, but we prefer it when you do.
